November’s Birthstones bring forth a rainbow of colors

November's Birthstones.

November’s Birthstones bring forth a rainbow of colors.

November~what a beautiful month.  Here on the west coast of Canada our Fall has set in and the weather is definitely changing. Natures colors are vibrant, the morning and evenings are brisk and sometimes foggy.  Many a days the rain doesn’t seem to stop, yet when the Sun does shine it is absolutely glorious.

No doubt an exciting month to celebrate a Birthday, it’s full of changes and full of color. Just like your Birthstone’s. I must say~you are very lucky, you get to enjoy two beautiful Gems, Citrine and Topaz.

Citrine, it is found in shades of pastel yellow to dark brownish orange.

It is a stone that brings happiness and cheer to one who carries or wears it. It not only radiates positive energy, but it also dissipates negative energy of all kinds.

You also get to enjoy Topaz which comes in a rainbow of colors.

In traditional Indian belief systems, Topaz is said to unlock the throat Chakra, which facilitates communication and self-expression.  It is therefore believed that Topaz is thought to be beneficial to artists, writers, public speakers and others who are concerned with self-expression.

Of course as with every Gemstone you don’t have to have a Birthday to enjoy them. There is no rule here. They are for you to wear if you love them.

If your wardrobe consists of browns, greens, creams and rusts, grab a Citrine.  And as November takes you into the upcoming holiday festivities, consider jazzing up that little black dress by choosing one of the following Topaz Jewels. Not only beautiful but they will add that little dazzle and touch of bling.

The jeweler allows me to wear the sapphire blue lake on my finger, emerald green leaves around my neck, and take the citrine sunset with me wherever I go. Jewelry has become my daytime link to nature in an office with no windows. And if I have to work late, there’s nothing like diamond stars and a pearl full moon against an onyx night sky. ~Astrid Alauda, “Office With No Windows,” 2005
