My connection with The Arthritis Society of Canada

Years ago I have become a Charitable Partner with

The Arthritis Society of Canada. My connection with The Arthritis Society of Canada

Since the launch of my Jewelry Business online I felt compelled to “give” back.

For every online purchase 10% will be donated directly to this very important organization.

There’s a reason for this and I hope you have a moment to read my story.

The Arthritis Society has always played a huge part of my life. Back in the 60’s, I was diagnosed at the age of 2 years old with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis.

It was called C.A.R.S. back then (Canadian Arthritis and Rheumatism Society) and they were there for me through my younger years. Months on end, 3 times a week with physio-therapy each day after school.

At age 15, I began to have replacement surgeries on my hips, age 18 both my knees and at 22, my shoulders. Each time the Arthritis Society got me “moving”. Double Dragon Jewelry owner

They even taught me how to drive at the age of 16!!

It didn’t end there. Since those early adult years, I have had a few revisions on my hips and in 2013 I had my last complete hip replacement. This is now my 6th one.

I’m getting older now and along with Rheumatoid Arthritis, I have in the past 20 years been diagnosed with Osteoporosis and Ankylosing Spondylitis.

My last recovery from the surgery took me a longer period and again The Arthritis Society came through with lots of physio therapy and am now doing very well.

I am so grateful for all that this wonderful Organization has done for me.

Company Overview:

The Arthritis Society is Canada’s only not-for-profit organization devoted solely to funding and promoting arthritis research, programs and patient care. It has a national administrative office in Toronto, division offices in each province, and a network of volunteers in many communities across Canada.

They provide leadership and funding for research, advocacy and solutions to improve the quality of life for Canadians affected by arthritis.

I like to give you a huge Thank you if you have in the past or plan to purchase Jewelry now or in the future from my website. Every dollar adds up and together we are able to help the young and the aged with this disease, to learn how to manage and live a “normal” life.

Cheers always

Cindy
