Nature Inspired Jewelry
As a lover of the outdoors, I have always been drawn to Nature Inspired Jewelry. Jewelry Designers around the world pick up the forms and colors from our surroundings and bring them to light in their wonderful creations. (please click on the picture if you would like more info on it)
Our Native Jewelry Designers Nancy Dawson and Vincent Henson from Canada use mostly animals in their designs as they are very symbolic to their heritage.

Many of our Jewelry Designers focus on the intricacy of their work, allowing each of their designs so much detail that we can almost hear the birds chirping, bees buzzing, butterflies fluttering, dragonflies flittering and to even smell the soft scent of flowers. I am very fortunate to live on the west coast of Canada where our temperatures are warm and right now it is Spring. My husband has been working hard in the garden and it shows beautifully. It is bursting with buds, blossoms and flowers~truly my favorite time of year.
Each day as I walk around the garden, I find myself looking attentively upon each plant and getting quite excited with the signs of each new growth.
If you have had the opportunity to browse through my website you would of noticed many of my Sterling Silver Jewelry is adorned with amazing Gemstones. Fiery Opals and Caribbean blue Turquoise, beautiful and lovely iridescent Mother of Pearl and Freshwater Pearls.
These, again, natures wonders, are loved and appreciated by many of our Designers who love to incorporate them into their own creations.
The use of stones like Shell, Labradorite and Moonstone, give off an iridescence or play of color, like the wings of tropical Butterflies and dragonflies.
Deep blue Lapis Lazuli and rich Amber can be found in the colors of birds and bumble~bees. Each of these flying wonders also adding beauty and amazement with their colors and designs. Again details of which our Designers have transformed into their work of art.
As you can see in my pictures I will use many of my pieces from my collection for messages. The following Sea Star photo was important to me as living on the west coast of Canada we were devastated when we heard our most loved Sea Creature was wasting away. Good news is they are now seeing baby Sea Star/ Star Fish again.
