It is also thought to possess the unique ability to balance all of the energies of the body, mind and spirit.
Physically, Chalcedony is said to relieve melancholy, fever, irritability, gall stones, and eye problems.

It is the term used by gemologists as a species name for all types of cryptocrystalline quartz, including Agate, Chrysoprase, Carnelian, Cat’s Eye, Golden Quartz, also known as Lemon Quartz, Beer or Whiskey Quartz, Mystic Quartz, Rose Quartz, Tiger’s Eye, Agate Geode, Bloodstone, Jasper, Onyx, Moss Agate, Adventurine.
